“ Stopped for some magnificent muffins, literally. Walked in and was welcomed with the smell of great coffee and friendly faces. I loved the mom and pop vibe, family pictures on the wall, some Penn State swag! Love it. What really got to me was how kind and great the customer service was. Smiles, great help on picking some delicious muffins. The muffins are incredible but it really struck out to me how genuine the workers were. Seemed like they loved their job and the people around them, you can't find that many places. I will become a new regular here!! ”

They do a good breakfast bagel sandwich. I'm not a huge fan of the bagels themselves (they're the big fluffy kind) but they hold together bacon and eggs just fine. Ambiance is a bit chaotic, talking, greeting, shuffling for space-all on brand for a neighborhood muffin and bagel shop. ”
“ Fantastic!! The muffins are incredible and they will fry them up in butter so you get crispy edges. They always have a solid and changing range of flavors. They also have very solid breakfast sandwiches. There isn't much seating -- there are a few tables outside but mostly people come for takeout. It's cash only. You can tell it's a beloved local institution from how busy it always is. Highly recommend! ”

I've NEVER had a more delicious yet simple breakfast in my life - the crispiest bacon and most perfectly cooked eggs....even the wheat toast is amazing. ”

“ Just moved into the neighborhood and boy am I glad I did! As I approached the entrance, I was greeted with a friendly hello by some regulars sitting outside. Was then further greeted with a "welcome to the neighborhood" by the owner Joan, who clearly knows her customers! Ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel, a blueberry muffin and a cold brew. It was busy, but service was fast and attentive and my sandwich was hot and tasty. Really missed having a good bagel with decent chew and flavor after being out in the West Coast, where they try to pass off circular bread as bagels. Muffin was more of the cakey variety, but delicious griddled with a bit of butter. Other than being cash-only, this neighborhood bakery shoppe is the indeed "Magnificent" and they've definitely acquired a new regular. ”
